Overview of the Training

This intensive training programme covers the practical requirements for a number of ceremonies.
This course takes place in Glastonbury, Somerset – also known as the Isle of Avalon, and also in Waltham Abbey in Essex.
We offer a wide range of learning experiences that can be incorporated into all aspects of celebrancy work. It is a valuable course of learning for those who want to add to their existing career path as a Celebrant and for people that are drawn to this as their chosen work or vocation.

A Seven-Day Journey

This is an intensive seven-day immersion into sacred ceremony — You will be guided with warmth, wisdom, and heart, held within a supportive group of expert training providers and like-minded souls.

Meet the Team Dinner

Your journey begins the evening before training with our “Meet the Team” gathering, a joyful welcome dinner at one of the restaurants along Glastonbury High Street. This is paid for by Sacred Celebrants Academy and is a gentle way to settle in, share stories, and connect over delicious food and warm conversation. The evening weaves friendship, laughter, and a little magic into the start of your sacred week.

Please note: This gathering is an essential part of the training and attendance is required.

We keep our training groups intimate and heart-centred to ensure a deeply personal and nurturing experience for everyone. As a trainee Sacred Celebrant you are seen, heard, and supported as you step into the sacred role of celebrant and ceremonialist.

Because of this, places are limited and our courses fill up quickly, early booking is highly recommended.

A Sacred Setting

Your training unfolds in Glastonbury, Somerset, also known as the mystical Isle of Avalon, long associated with the Divine Feminine and the healing energy of the Mother Goddess. Your course tutor is Priestess of Avalon Dawn Kinsella, founder of Sacred Celebrants Academy and Goddess Temple Weddings, former Temple Mother for the Glastonbury Goddess Temple and Temple teacher for the ‘Sacred Grief Ceremonialist’ training for Glastonbury Goddess Temple Teachings.
