The Spiritual Funeral and Memorial Celebrant course, the first of its kind, brings together the best of civil celebrant funeral training with the depth and wisdom of pagan and spiritual funeral practices, with the very best training providers Priestess Dawn Kinsella, Sacred Civil Celebrant Sally Ingle and  guest speaker Grace Jevons, OneSpirit Minister and CEO of Association of Independent Celebrants. This remarkable course encompasses an array of profound ceremonies and rituals, including, high spec training in professional Civil Funerals, Spiritual Funerals, Grief work, including: the Passing Over Ceremony, the Bardos System, Soul Midwifery, Sacred Grief Ceremonies for Mothers and Parents, and how to hold a death café and much more.

We are also pleased to announce that we are launching a course in Glastonbury 2024 for  ‘Civil Funeral Celebrants only ‘ Advanced Spiritual Funeral Training’, with Spiritual/Pagan inspired funerals and grief work, to add to your portfolio.

What You will Learn:

The Four Elements of Nature:  Air, Fire, Water, and Earth and how they are incorporated in your ceremonial work and scripted services and delivery skills, including the practice of ‘Calling in’ the Elements, prior to nature based funeral services. 

Introduction to the Bardos System: A fascinating insight from ancient Tibetan wisdom on navigating the journey of the soul. 

Soul Midwifery: An introduction to the sacred art of guiding souls through the transition between life and death.

Sacred Grief Ceremonies for Mothers: Offering deeply powerful ceremony  for mothers coping with the loss of a child or pregnancy, you will practice the  'Closing the Bones' ceremony: the ancient Mexican postpartum tradition and combine it with sound healing, sacred oil blending, honouring the Sacred womb space  and shamanic drumming into your practice.
Exploring the ‘Sacred Spirit Babies Ceremony for Mothers’ with Grace Jevons

Samhain (All Hallows Eve) Walking the Death Road Ceremony: A community centred ceremonial rite for everyone to honour their beloved dead.

How to Set Up a Death Cafe: Facilitate open conversations about mortality and grief in your community.
